چکیده
The malt bagasse is a solid residue, highly produced in the brewing industry. presence of high levels antioxidants its composition makes this residue an attractive possibility as corrosion inhibitor, besides being sustainable and low cost alternative to inorganic procedures currently used prevent corrosion. In sense, work evaluated efficiency powder inhibitor on surface AISI 1020 carbon steel, different concentrations, acidic medium 0.5 mol.L-1 HCl. resistance was tested by electrochemical techniques, such impedance spectroscopy (EIS) anodic cathodic polarization curves. weight loss tests. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) optical microscope image analysis were respectively chemical morphological characterization respectively. From EIS results, it can be said that has increased once concentration higher. On other hand, curves shows presents both behavior. results confirmed showing 92.5% for 1.77 g.L-1 concentration. adsorption isotherm steel follows Languimir’s Isotherm. FTIR indicates heteroatoms C, N, O, incorporated functional groups could responsible inhibitory properties found powder. images obtained from microscope, showed process, electrolyte, retarded. Therefore, indicate potential medium, adding value beer production chain.
